Deepening Synergy in Key Sectors: China and Italy to Jointly Build a Bilateral Economic Information Exchange Platform

On May 20, Jiang Shangyuan, Secretary General of the China Federation of Economic Media, visited the Beijing office of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerc (CICC) for a working meeting with Chamber President Lorenzo Riccardi, Vice President Vinicio Eminenti, and Secretary General Fabrizio Costa.

In the context of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Italy this year, the two sides held in-depth discussions on enhancing practical cooperation in key areas of economy, trade, and culture. They reached important consensus on establishing a regular cooperation framework to boost the communication and visibility of Italy’s national brand in China, jointly building a China-Italy economic and trade information exchange platform, and strengthening coordination mechanisms for brand promotion activities in key sectors.
