The China Academy of Building Research (CABR) signed a collaboration agreement with French design firm Valode & Pistre Architects (VP) for the Cuizhai Conference Center project in the Qibu district in Jinan during the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) on November 5.
The partnership is a major development as both parties combine their technical and resource strengths to elevate design and service standards, aiming to establish the Cuizhai project as a premier exhibition and conference venue in China.
The center aims to serve as a key platform for the Belt and Road Initiative, acting as a high-end conference center for Northeast Asia and an international venue for professional gatherings. CABR will oversee the entire project consulting process, while VP will provide conceptual and schematic, as well as preliminary architectural, design.
It is the second collaboration between CABR and VP since their joint appearance at the third CIIE in 2020. Their partnership has allowed both parties to share opportunities and advance their goals for growth.
CABR remains committed to leveraging its comprehensive technical expertise in architecture to deepen cross-sector and international collaborations, steadily enhance its global operations, and actively contribute to high-quality development of the BRI on a new, international path.
