A 12-meter, three-door, pure electric double-decker bus developed by CRRC Corporation Limited (CRRC) has made its debut at Suntec City, Singapore.
The bus adopts the CATL company’s new generation lithium iron phosphate battery, which optimizes driving range while minimizing battery space requirements.
It can also be equipped with solar panels on the roof, recovering up to 4 kW of energy, lowering overall power consumption and motor load.
This eco-friendly design supports low-carbon urban commuting, offering a more energy-efficient and sustainable transportation solution.
The vehicle is also equipped with the AGIL safe driving detection system, assisting drivers in efficiently and accurately identifying vulnerable road users (VRUs) and vehicles to enhance driving safety.
It features an automatic drainage system, effectively reducing rust and extending the vehicle’s lifespan.
Through continuous innovation, CRRC has developed comprehensive smart urban transportation solutions.
Its intelligent bus offerings include a full spectrum of products ranging from mainline buses to feeder routes, microcirculation buses, intercity passenger and freight services, and customized transit options.
In the smart highway sector, CRRC offers solutions for tourist coaches, commuter vehicles, and more.
The launch of this vehicle not only enriches CRRC’s product portfolio for the overseas market but also provides a technologically advanced product foundation to further serve the Asia-Pacific region.
Looking ahead, CRRC will continue advancing research and applications in urban public transportation, promoting the scaled adoption of core technologies such as L4-level autonomous driving in microcirculation scenarios.
By integrating various urban mobility modes, CRRC aims to establish a unified system connecting large, medium, and small-scale transport capacities, further supporting the intelligent development of urban transportation systems.
