CRRC Launches First Sightseeing Train in Jilin

CRRC Corporation Limited (CRRC) recently launched its first sightseeing train in Hunchun city, Jilin province.

This unique train journey encompasses scenic tours along the borders of China, Russia, and North Korea, offering passengers a blend of Russian-style train aesthetics and AI-driven interactive experiences.

The train, comprising eight carriages, runs a 68-kilometer route along the Tumen River, navigating the border regions of the three countries.

The train offers various seating options, including cabin seating, private compartments and photo booths. The cabin seating area accommodates six passengers per table, while the private compartments provide seating for 18 passengers, equipped with LCD TVs and other amenities.

The kitchen is outfitted with specialized equipment for preparing authentic Russian cuisine, allowing passengers to enjoy both the scenery and the culinary process.

The sightseeing train is expected to attract more tourists to explore Northeast Asia.

In the future, this service will be integrated with existing international postal trains, creating a comprehensive platform that combines cross-border e-commerce with duty-free zones, offering global travelers an enhanced experience in shopping, dining and entertainment.
