The breakthrough in core process technology and the production of high-quality POM products is a significant milestone, achieving independent control over high-end POM production techniques.
POM, one of the five major engineering plastics, is renowned for its exceptional mechanical strength, rigidity and wear resistance.
It can be used continuously at temperatures below 104°C and boasts a broad range of applications in various industries.
The POM is an ideal material for key automotive components, such as interior parts, and is widely used in the manufacturing of electronic and electrical parts like relays.
In addition, POM is integral in producing gears and other core components in the mechanical industry, with its versatile applications extending to more industrial and consumer sectors.
Since 2021, CNCEC has assembled a dedicated R&D team to tackle the development of high-end POM products. The team independently designed and built a pilot plant with a production capacity of 1,000 tons, overcoming major technical challenges along the way.
