China Datang Achieves "Good Start" in Q1: Green Power Drives Stable Energy Supply

Since the beginning of this year, China Datang has adhered to the general tone of seeking progress while maintaining stability, unswervingly pursued high-quality development, and made every effort to increase power generation and ensure supply, providing strong "green momentum" for economic and social development. In the first quarter, the company achieved a "good start" with steady growth in power generation and a significant rise in clean energy output.

State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council reported that in the first quarter, China Datang’s total power generation increased by 5.23% year-on-year. Among them, green power generation rose by 7.47% year-on-year, clean energy power generation grew by 12.31% year-on-year, and heat supply increased by 4.25% year-on-year. The continuous and stable supply of energy and electricity has strongly supported the stable operation of the national economy.

In terms of heat supply, China Datang has taken safe production as the bottom line, strengthened production scheduling and equipment management, and built a solid line of defense for energy supply. Faced with multiple challenges such as the winter load peak and complex operating environment, all affiliated enterprises have consolidated the responsibility chain at all levels. Through measures including "daily scheduling" management, scientific coal blending, and precise monitoring of equipment status, they have optimized unit operation modes and improved emergency response capabilities to ensure stable, full and efficient power generation of units.

Datang Tuoketuo Power Generation Company has made historic breakthroughs in various heating indicators during the heating season since last winter. Its maximum heating area exceeded 63 million square meters, covering nearly one-third of Hohhot’s urban heating demand. By the end of the heating season, the company had delivered a total of 21.4708 million gigajoules of heat to Hohhot, an increase of 1.8913 million gigajoules compared with the previous heating season. The company has also adopted an intelligent monitoring and early warning system for heating stations, covering 784 abnormal alarm scenarios such as high heater liquid level and low steam pressure, building an intelligent line of defense for safe heating.

Shanxi Power Generation Company has focused on improving the quality of safe production, continuously deepened the management of old equipment, and continuously improved equipment reliability. It has carried out special actions to improve quality, efficiency and stabilize growth, and solidly promoted the implementation of various tasks in the first quarter, ensuring the stable operation of power generation and heating work.

In terms of clean energy power generation, China Datang has continuously optimized the cascade joint scheduling plan, scientifically connected power station maintenance plans, and realized the efficient use of water resources. Guiguan Power Company has made full use of the intelligent scheduling system, strengthened scheduling coordination and communication with the Pearl River Water Resources Commission and power grids, optimized cascade joint scheduling, tapped the potential of reservoir regulation, and reasonably arranged unit maintenance to achieve the coordinated optimization of energy and power supply guarantee and reservoir drawdown.

Fujian Branch has increased the frequency of inspections on key locations such as distribution boxes, cable trenches and photovoltaic panels, and timely identified and eliminated potential safety hazards. It has steadily promoted the on-grid test of existing stations and the construction of "unmanned on-duty" stations, continuously improved the level of digital management, and its photovoltaic power generation in the first quarter hit a new high in the same period in history.

Chifeng New Energy Business Department of Inner Mongolia Company has responded to extreme weather challenges, focusing on strengthening the special monitoring of wind turbine blade icing, collector line icing and box transformer operation status, eliminating potential safety hazards in a timely manner. At the same time, it has used digital platforms to analyze wind turbine performance data in real time, optimized start-stop strategies, and effectively improved equipment operation efficiency.
