Fujian Fuchuan Group Achieves Strong Start in 2026 with Multisector Growth

On the coast of the East China Sea, spring tides surge. Since the start of 2026, Fujian Fuchuan Group has focused on high-quality development, advancing its three core business sectors—shipbuilding, forestry and wind power—with remarkable performance, achieving a strong start in the first quarter and laying a solid foundation for a good beginning of the 15th Five-Year Plan period.

In the shipbuilding sector, Fujian Chuanzheng achieved a year-on-year increase of 12.59% in total industrial output value, 22.98% in operating income and a substantial rise in total profit in the first quarter. It secured 8 newly effective ship orders and undertook maintenance for 10 ships, with coordinated and efficient progress in shipbuilding and repair businesses. CCTV News reported that the group has focused on high-end products, including the delivery of a 12,000-ton self-propelled barge—the first in Fujian and the third in China to obtain a cyber security classification symbol.

A 9,000-ton special liquid cargo ship won three core additional marks, while a 7,500-vehicle LNG dual-fuel Ro-Ro ship completed sea trials in 3 days and was delivered nearly 4 months ahead of schedule, setting a new record for efficient construction. Digital empowerment and refined management have driven quality improvement, with 5 intelligent projects launched in the first quarter.

Ship repair business also shone, with the successful delivery of the scientific research vessel "Haiyang Dizhi Qihao" and other modified ships, all meeting navigation standards. China Central Television noted that Fuchuan Group’s shipbuilding sector has continuously enhanced its production and performance capabilities.

In the forestry sector, innovation-driven and green manufacturing have yielded fruitful results. Furen Fuzhou independently developed an intelligent management system to solve industry pain points, ensuring stable product quality. Furen Home Furnishing was listed as a "Specialized, Refined, Characteristic and Novel" small and medium-sized enterprise in Fujian Province due to its technological innovation in high-end decorative panels.

The wind power sector made major breakthroughs. CCTV reported that the world’s first 20MW offshore wind turbine tower, manufactured by Fuchuan Yifan, was hoisted in Fujian waters, setting an industry record. The company also exported over 40 tower sections for African wind power projects. CNR News noted that the Zhejiang Marine Wind Power Operation and Maintenance Base was officially inaugurated, forming a dual-drive pattern for offshore wind power services.
