EuroCucina 2026 Kicks Off: Kitchen Space Undergoes Dual Innovation in Scenarios and Technology

From April 21st to 26th local time, EuroCucina 2026 (European Kitchen Exhibition), under the framework of the Milan International Furniture Fair, officially kicked off at Halls 2 and 4 of the Fiera Milano Rho. As a biennial benchmark event in the international kitchen field, this year's exhibition gathered 106 exhibitors from 17 countries, among which 35 brands made their debut or returned. The on-site exhibits cover various categories such as kitchen furniture, intelligent equipment, and environmentally friendly materials, comprehensively presenting the new development vision of contemporary kitchen space and changes in living habits. Scenario integration, outdoor demand, sustainable development, and artificial intelligence have become core keywords, pointing out the direction for the global kitchen design and industry development.

On site, it was seen that as a grand event in the kitchen field that established its international status since its first holding in 1974, EuroCucina has gone through more than half a century of precipitation, and each session has become a vivid testimony to the importance and central position of the kitchen space in contemporary families. Different from the past, this year's exhibition has broken the functional boundary of the traditional kitchen, and "scenario integration" has become the most intuitive trend. The products launched by many participating brands are no longer limited to a single cooking function, but seamlessly connect the kitchen with the living room and outdoor space. Through designs such as integrated countertops and movable modules, the kitchen has been transformed from a closed operation room into an open and transparent core area for family socialization and life.

At the exhibition site, various exhibits carrying new design concepts were displayed one after another. From form, material to color and technology, all reflect the contemporary people's new expectations for kitchen life. The return of natural materials has become a major highlight. Environmentally friendly materials such as FSC-certified wood, antibacterial ceramics, and recycled plates are widely used, which not only take into account touch and aesthetics but also respond to the global consensus on sustainable development; in terms of color, soft tones represented by pearl beige have gradually replaced the cold minimalist style, making the kitchen space more emotionally warm and close to people's inherent needs for physical and mental health. At the same time, the latest R&D directions of various brands are fully revealed, constantly innovating the kitchen design language, which not only takes into account the traditional sense of ritual of cooking but also integrates the current emerging living habits, further strengthening the role of the kitchen as a family emotional bond and awakening people's sense of belonging to family reunion.

The supporting event of this year's exhibition, FTK (Technology For the Kitchen), was held simultaneously. Established in 2004 as a special segment, this event attracts about 50 exhibitors each session and has become an important platform focusing on innovations in built-in kitchen technology and range hoods. At the FTK exhibition area, it was seen that there are a large number of innovative products, concepts and visions for the present and near future of food preservation and cooking art. The in-depth integration of artificial intelligence and kitchen technology has become the biggest highlight—from intelligent linkage systems that can automatically optimize energy consumption, to intelligent assistants that can provide personalized cooking suggestions, and then to sensing devices that can accurately perceive the state of ingredients, technology is simplifying the daily cooking process and improving the kitchen use experience in an "invisible" way.

Person in charge of on-site participating brands said that EuroCucina is not only a platform for displaying products but also a window for exchanges and collisions in the global kitchen industry. FTK, on the other hand, provides an exclusive stage for the innovation of kitchen technology, allowing breakthroughs in fields such as built-in technology and intelligent equipment to be concentrated. During this year's exhibition, many internationally renowned brands have displayed their core innovative achievements, including modular kitchen systems that take into account both aesthetics and functions, as well as intelligent kitchen appliances focusing on environmental protection and efficiency, comprehensively showing the evolution direction of kitchen space in scenarios, technology, environmental protection and other dimensions.
