Shen International’s South-west Beijing Integrated Logistics Hub enters operation

According to the Shenzhen Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission on 27 October, the South-west Beijing Integrated Logistics Hub of Shen International, also known as the Fangshan Park, opened on the morning of 18 October. Developed and operated by North Shen International Logistics (Beijing) Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Shen International, the facility fills gaps in large-scale modern warehousing and distribution capacity across south-west Beijing. It links logistics hubs with real industries and connects transport corridors to node networks, delivering infrastructure support to cut distribution costs for local trade.

Sited within the Doudian Logistics Base in Fangshan, the hub carries a total investment of one billion yuan. It forms a key project under the Coordinated Development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region and supports upgrades to Beijing’s modern logistics system. Its overall floor area stands at around 143,000 square metres, incorporating single-sided double high-standard warehouses, two-storey platform warehouses, cold storage space, reserved cold storage zones and lift-served warehouses. The integrated warehousing complex is listed as one of the National Development and Reform Commission’s key projects and included in Beijing’s “Three 100s” major works programme, and it features in the municipal plan to reduce logistics costs across the whole economy.

Built to high standards for smart logistics, the hub combines premium warehousing, cold-chain services and multimodal transport. It offers bundled warehousing, sorting, delivery and cold-chain services for businesses in south-west Beijing and surrounding areas, shortening lead times and lowering operational expenditure. The site operates on a dual model for regular and emergency use. In normal conditions, it supports urban commerce and daily supply chains to sustain regional economic stability. During emergencies, it can store, transfer and allocate emergency supplies, strengthening local capacity for essential goods and contingency logistics.

A signing ceremony took place at the opening event, where the first cohort of express delivery and supply chain firms sealed strategic partnership agreements. The arrival of these tenants marks the formal operational launch of the hub and extends Shen International’s logistics footprint across the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. Shen International will draw on its expertise in logistics infrastructure development and operation to run the park, refine service provision and support regional industrial growth and modern circulation networks.
