139th Canton Fair Debuts “New, Green, Intelligent” Products, Boosting Sino-Foreign Cooperation
From April 15 to May 5, the 139th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) is being held in Guangzhou in three phases, with a diverse range of “new, green and intelligent” products on display, including 24-hour illuminable tethered suspension lights, AI fitting mirrors that enable “one-click outfit changes” and high-definition, thin and transparent screens, according to People’s Daily Online.
“Novelty” is the biggest highlight of this Canton Fair. According to China Economic Net, the fair has set a new record in scale, gathering more than 32,000 participating enterprises, among which about 3,900 are making their debut. Closely following the “new, green and intelligent” trend, the exhibition layout has added 9 new zones for the first time, including smart wearables, display technology, consumer drones and agricultural drones, increasing the total number of exhibition zones to 179 and accurately meeting the needs of global industrial chain upgrading.

In the drone zone, cool micro unmanned helicopters and uniquely shaped dual-rotor drones have attracted much attention, focusing on showing breakthrough achievements in key fields such as flight control systems, communication and navigation, AI obstacle avoidance and new energy power. Guangzhou Chengzhi Intelligent Machine Technology Co., Ltd., a first-time exhibitor, has a crowded booth with merchants inquiring about drone parameters and feeling the drone structure in person. An overseas buyer said he had learned about the company’s products before and specially came to the fair to seek more cooperation.
The company’s CZ100 tethered suspension light, making its debut at the fair, has attracted many merchants. Zhang Kai, Vice President of Chengzhi Intelligent, introduced that this innovative product integrates lighting lamps into the drone arms, achieving lightweight and reducing energy consumption. Combined with a high-voltage power supply platform, it can provide 24-hour lighting, offering a more reliable lighting solution for emergency rescue and other scenarios.
Long-term exhibitors have also brought new products. Konka Technology, participating in the fair for the 52nd time, has its booth in the newly established display technology zone. “For the entire industry, the new display technology zone at the Canton Fair is a major boon,” said Gao Xin, Marketing Director of Konka Technology. The company, transforming from a traditional display manufacturer to an intelligent technology brand, has brought innovative interactive products such as mobile portable displays, AI glasses and AI electronic whiteboards, with its AI fitting mirror being a hit among merchants.
In the smart wearables zone, adaptive noise-canceling headphones, smart watches and AI glasses are in abundance. In the smart terminal field, the smart terminal business unit of Inspur Group has displayed diversified products including transparent screens, optical-storage-charging integrated devices and cleaning robots. Its OLED transparent screen, less than 1 cm thick, has won praise from overseas buyers for its high light transmittance and ultra-thin flexible design.
Liu Hua, person in charge of the booth, said the company’s smart terminal products have served more than 50 countries and regions. “Some products are common in China but novel overseas. We hope to show more ‘Made in China’ intelligent products to the world through the Canton Fair,” he noted. Data shows that about 670 enterprises have participated in the new zones with over 1,300 booths, demonstrating new momentum of China’s manufacturing and building a bridge for mutually beneficial cooperation between Chinese and foreign enterprises.
