A 12-Hour Aviation-Cultural Tourism Live Stream Kicks Off in Zhaoping, Guangxi

A 12-hour live stream featuring aviation and cultural tourism kicked off officially in Zhaoping County, Hezhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on March 5th. Air China, together with four other airlines including Shenzhen Airlines, Shandong Airlines, Air Macau and Kunming Airlines, joined hands with local cultural and tourism merchants to host an immersive ticket promotion live stream amid the picturesque Gui River cruise ships and vast tea gardens.

As the first joint live stream of Air China-related airlines in 2026, the Douyin live stream launched more than 800 value-for-money multi-ride ticket products, with prices starting from as low as 200 yuan. Air China’s products covered domestic routes in March and international routes from April to June, while Shenzhen Airlines’ products covered all domestic flights before April 20th. High-value international business class products stood out as the highlight of the live stream, with Air China’s business class multi-ride tickets priced at 19,900 yuan and 12,000 yuan selling briskly, covering popular overseas destinations in the Americas, Europe and Oceania.

The diverse product range catered to the travel needs of different passengers, ranging from business class flights directly from Beijing Capital Airport to Lhasa and international long-haul routes between Shenzhen and Los Angeles, to convenient regional flights from Chengdu Tianfu Airport to Guilin and the newly opened holiday route from Jinan to Hanoi. During the live stream, hosts detailed the worry-free policies of "refundable if not booked and automatic refund when expired", as well as service details such as child ticket binding and luggage allowance guarantee, helping more consumers plan their trips with confidence and boosting their willingness to travel.

What made this live stream unique was that it moved the studio from the traditional indoor setting to the natural scenery of Zhaoping County. Leveraging the resource advantages of the targeted assistance provided by China National Aviation Holding Corporation (CNAC), the live stream team boarded Gui River cruise ships, visited Hualiu Tea Garden in Jiangkou Village, and collaborated with scenic spots such as Huangyao Ancient Town, fully demonstrating the achievements of CNAC in promoting the integration of ecological tea industry and cultural tourism in the assisted area.

From the glistening waves on the Gui River to the vibrant spring scenery in Hualiu Tea Garden, and then to the bluestone roads of Huangyao Ancient Town, hosts led millions of netizens to "cloud tour" Zhaoping. They not only vividly presented the four business cards of Zhaoping — "a Gui River, an ancient city, ten thousand mu of tea gardens and long-lived elderly people" — but also gave away Zhaoping organic tea, a characteristic agricultural product assisted by CNAC, through lucky draws, allowing netizens to experience the ecological beauty and industrial vitality of Zhaoping up close.

This live stream was not only a vivid practice of CNAC fulfilling its social responsibility as a central enterprise and supporting rural revitalization, but also a successful exploration of the integrated development of "aviation + cultural tourism + agriculture". As the popularity of Zhaoping’s early spring tea picking series activities continues to rise, this land of green mountains and clear waters is attracting more and more tourists to arrive by air, embarking on a spring date together.
