With an installed capacity of 99 megawatts, the Konat solar project stands as the largest photovoltaic facility commissioned in Croatia to date. It is designed to generate an estimated 165 million kilowatt‑hours of clean electricity per year, sufficient to meet the annual power demand of around 50,000 households.

The project will also cut approximately 150,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually, supporting Croatia’s efforts to boost clean energy supply and advance the low‑carbon transition of its national energy mix.

The grid connection represents a key step in regional energy cooperation and demonstrates robust capacity in delivering large‑scale renewable energy infrastructure.

By bringing stable, green power to local communities, the project supports sustainable development goals while strengthening practical collaboration in the clean energy sector.
