World’s First Embodied Intelligent 3C Precision Manufacturing Line Launched in Nanchang
It was learned from Nanchang High-tech Industrial Development Zone on April 24 that an 8-hour production line live broadcast was recently held at the Nanchang Intelligent Manufacturing Center of Shanghai Longqi Technology Co., Ltd. Zhiyuan Innovation (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd. publicly verified the implementation effect of the world’s first embodied intelligent 3C precision manufacturing line, where the Zhiyuan Elf G2 robot worked as an "official employee" to independently complete the whole-process operations such as precision loading and unloading and human-machine collaboration on the high-speed assembly line.
Securities Times reported that Longqi Technology plans to invest about 1.5 billion yuan in building an AI + intelligent terminal digital benchmark factory project in Nanchang High-tech Zone, focusing on the production and R&D of mobile intelligent terminals such as laptops and tablets, which has laid a solid foundation for the landing of the embodied intelligent production line.

The live broadcast truly recorded the 8-hour continuous operation of the Zhiyuan Elf G2 robot. During the live broadcast, the robot adapted to the high-speed production line with a 20-second beat, stably completing the closed-loop operations of assembly line material taking, high-precision placement, fixture docking and finished product return. Measured data showed that the robot operated continuously for 8 hours without major abnormalities, with an overall operation success rate of over 99.5%.
Each single process took only 18 to 20 seconds, enabling the robot to complete 310 products per hour, and one robot could undertake the workload of two processes. In addition, it could adapt to dynamic disturbances and position deviations of the production line, intelligently sort out defective products, and realize real-time data intercommunication with the factory’s Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and testing equipment, supporting 24/7 uninterrupted two-shift operation for stable and efficient unmanned production.
Compared with traditional robotic arms, the robot has obvious advantages in generalization ability, deployment speed and flexibility. It can adapt to multiple models of tablet products without customizing special tooling; scene calibration can be completed in as fast as 15 minutes, production line changeover and retraining takes no more than 4 hours, and the equipment reuse rate is as high as 95%, fundamentally solving the long-standing pain points in the 3C industry such as strong production line rigidity, long changeover cycle, high transformation cost and insufficient flexibility.
Li Long, General Manager of the Robot Business Department of Shanghai Longqi Technology Co., Ltd., said: "Our company and Zhiyuan Innovation (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd. have set up a joint research team to carry out in-depth co-creation around core problems such as algorithm adaptation and process decoupling. It only took 4 months from project initiation to official integration into the production line, and the Zhiyuan Elf G2 robot has been stably operating for more than 140 hours, fully meeting the preset goals."
Yao Maoqing, Partner and Senior Vice President of Zhiyuan Innovation (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd., revealed that several Zhiyuan Elf G2 robots are currently operating stably in various production lines. Based on the mature implementation model, the company plans to expand the deployment scale to 100 units in the third quarter of this year and accelerate the replication and promotion of the robot to broader industrial scenarios such as automobile manufacturing, semiconductors and energy.
