China Civil Aviation Launches Summer-Autumn Flight Schedule with Optimized Route Networks

China’s civil aviation sector has officially launched its summer and autumn flight schedule, with targeted route network adjustments to meet the rising demand for travel and business exchanges across the country.

Effective from midnight on March 29, the new schedule will remain in place until October 24, 2026, covering a total of 210 days. Multiple airlines have optimized their domestic route networks in response to seasonal needs, including peak summer travel, cross-regional business trips and the popularity of cultural and tourism destinations.

To enhance connectivity, airlines have opened new routes and increased frequencies on existing services. Key adjustments focus on linking major aviation hubs with secondary cities and popular tourist spots, while boosting flight frequencies on high-demand routes connecting economic centers and tourism hubs. This optimization improves air travel efficiency for both business and leisure passengers.

The schedule revamp aims to build a more integrated air transport network, strengthening accessibility between regional hubs and smaller airports. This will better facilitate the flow of personnel and logistics, supporting regional economic integration and the development of the cultural tourism industry.

As the summer and autumn season includes key travel periods such as the May Day holiday, summer peak and National Day holiday, the optimized flight services are vital to meeting public travel demands and supporting the recovery of the consumer market.
