21st Pear Blossom Festival Opens in Guanxian, Shandong
The 21st Pear Garden Cultural Sightseeing Festival has officially kicked off at the China Number One Pear Garden in Guanxian County, Shandong Province, drawing visitors from across the country to enjoy spring scenery and immersive rural experiences.

According to local cultural and tourism authorities, the event runs until April 6 under the theme Good Seasons in the Countryside · Art Among Fields. Built around the region’s original ecological pear orchards, it prioritises visitor engagement while integrating folk cultural performances to enrich the on-site experience.
Across the scenic area, pear blossoms blanket the branches. Caressed by gentle breezes, the petals sway gently, contrasting vividly with golden rapeseed flowers in the adjacent fields to form a lively rural spring landscape.
This annual festival serves as a key driver of local rural vitalisation, following the model of boosting industries through tourism and revitalising villages via industry. By turning pear blossoms into a source of income, Guanxian continues to develop its agritourism sector and enhance the value of its characteristic rural resources.
