Peach Blossoms Bloom in Chang’an, Xi’an, Drawing Spring Sightseers
BEIJING, April 1 ― Over 6,800 mu of peach blossoms have burst into full bloom at Wangmang Subdistrict in Chang’an District, Xi’an City, at the foot of the Qinling Zhongnan Mountains, with a series of cultural and tourism events staged to welcome spring visitors, Xinhua News Agency reported on March 31.
On the same day, vibrant cultural activities were held among the blossoming peach groves at Tumenyu Village, Wangmang Subdistrict, drawing crowds of locals and tourists to enjoy the scenery and take part in festive events.

Local authorities have organised a peach blossom poetry recital and other themed cultural activities to enrich the visitor experience, blending natural scenery with folk culture to create a distinctive spring outing destination.
The blooming peach blossoms stretch across the hillsides near the Qinling Mountains, forming a picturesque pink landscape that has become a popular spot for sightseeing, photography and leisure. The events have not only brought lively spring scenes to the foothills of Zhongnan Mountain but also boosted local rural tourism as residents and visitors gather to celebrate the arrival of spring.
