Lishan Torch Festival 2026 Lights Up Traditional Culture in Bishan, Chongqing

2 March 2026 saw local residents in colourful traditional costumes singing and dancing at the Lishan Torch Festival 2026, held in Lishan Pastoral, Shaya Village, Dingjia Subdistrict, Bishan District, Chongqing.

Under the theme “Heritage through the Ages, Torchlight for Farming in Bishan”, the event combined displays of traditional craftsmanship with innovative interactive experiences, bringing renewed vitality to traditional culture amid the rural landscape.

The Lishan Torch Festival is a long-standing folk custom held annually on the 14th day of the first lunar month in Bishan District, Chongqing.
