Anhui Fully Prepares Facilities and Services for Upcoming Summer Grain Purchasing Season

As wheat fields across the Jianghuai region enter the mature season, comprehensive preparations for summer grain purchasing have been fully completed by Anhui Provincial Grain Industry Group. The group has made systematic arrangements in warehouse capacity, funds, equipment, staffing and risk prevention, achieving full readiness for large-scale summer grain collection operations.

Full market research and layout optimisation have been carried out to streamline grain collection and sales. The group’s subsidiary bodies have mapped out distribution diagrams covering grain drying and purchasing stations within a 60-kilometre service radius, enabling clear oversight of grain sources and transportation routes. Professional trading teams have been dispatched to major wheat-producing areas in Anhui, Jiangsu, Shandong, Henan and Hubei provinces to assess grain quality and output, securing high-quality grain sources in advance.

The group also establishes stable cooperative ties with downstream flour mills and feed enterprises to build sustainable sales channels. Seven purchasing outlets have been set up in multiple domestic regions to realise coordinated purchasing across provinces and reduce travel burdens for local grain farmers.

Adequate warehouse and equipment support lays a solid foundation for summer grain collection. The group has completed warehouse consolidation and resource revitalisation, releasing 340,000 tonnes of available warehouse capacity. All storage facilities have finished thorough cleaning, disinfection and vacant warehouse verification to meet standard grain storage requirements. Full equipment maintenance and debugging work has been completed across all subsidiaries.

A total of 14 purchasing lines and 112 sets of professional mechanical equipment are put into service, with the intelligent grain management platform upgraded and optimised. All quality inspection, loading and metering devices have passed systematic debugging and trial operation, ensuring stable and efficient operational performance during the peak purchasing period.

Diversified service and industrial linkage mechanisms are in place to benefit grain producers. Leveraging its role as a major grain circulation operator, the group connects large-scale grain growers and family farms with end-users through contract farming and production-marketing cooperation. All service sites optimise operational procedures and extend service hours, implementing quality-based pricing and cash settlement to deliver convenient and efficient grain-selling services for farmers.

Targeted professional training ensures standardised operational capabilities. Specialised training sessions on grain quality inspection based on updated national standards have been launched, focusing on practical detection of wheat test weight and rice milling rate. Financial staff receive professional training on fund settlement and interest clearance to guarantee uninterrupted capital allocation. Sufficient personnel covering registration, quality inspection, warehouse management and safety protection are fully deployed at each operation site.

Comprehensive risk prevention systems are established to safeguard safe grain purchasing. Full-scale hazard inspections are conducted on warehouse buildings, fire-fighting facilities and power circuits, with targeted on-site safety management regulations formulated. A complete customer credit file and blacklist mechanism is implemented, alongside mature market risk control strategies to mitigate operational and market risks.

With all preparatory work finalised, the group’s professional teams stand ready to conduct full-capacity summer grain purchasing. Standardised and efficient grain collection and storage operations will stabilise local grain supply and consolidate the grain security capacity of the Jianghuai grain base.
